The Carina Goblet is a handcrafted stem that is a traditional Waterford shape with a contemporary feel because of the simplicity of the cuts. The glass is accentuated at the bottom of the bowl of the glass by straight line cuts that maximize the sparkle and brilliance of the crystal. This glass also has a stem designed with flat cuts adding to the sparkle of the crystal.A full-bodied cabernet settles nicely into the bowl of this striking goblet from world-renowned crystal manufacturer Waterford. The Carina goblet is the epitome of its name, which means "pretty" in Greek. The goblet holds up to 7 liquid ounces and features mouth-blown crystal construction. Sculpted by hand, precise cutting around the base of the goblet bowl accentuates the crystal's sparkle in natural light. As Waterford no longer stocks the Carina line, artisans craft the goblet upon order to fulfill the company's pledge to never discontinue any stemware design. Special order stemware takes six to twelve months for construction and delivery. To protect the goblet from damage, wash in warm water by hand and air dry. Users should avoid using extremely hot or cold water on the crystal to prevent splintering.
